After that, the address autocompletes when you enter the first few characters. To remove this, you will have to have added the domain as an alias to your Google Apps account, so Gmail can sign outgoing messages with DKIM. Tip: If you're using Outlook 2010 or earlier, you might need to enter the whole address in the From field the first time. As I mentioned above, Gmail adds a via to your email address if you try to send email from an alternate address of your Google Apps account. To send a message, open a send window in Outlook and choose from a list of available addresses.Send and reply to a message from the new address
Then, if you leave the From field blank in Outlook, recipients can view the default address as the sender. For details, go to Change default "From" address.
#Send email as alias google apps update
I tried: gam update user crashtestdummy alias idontwearseatbelts. I looked at the example syntax: gam create alias idontwearseatbelts crashtestdummy. (Optional) To always send mail from the new address, make the address your default From address. I am going to try and add aliases in bulk from a csv, but first I need the syntax to add an alias using GAM.
